This policy explains how Submit Later (the Chrome extension, your account and this website) handles your information. Submit Later is operated by Harmandeep Singh, B-34/6378, Street No. 3, Jagat Nagar, Jassian Road, Haibowal Kalan, Ludhiana (East), Ludhiana, Punjab 141001, India ("we", "us").
The short version
- What you schedule (pages, buttons and times) stays in Chrome on your own computer. It's never sent to us.
- For your account we store your name, email, a securely hashed password (or your Google account ID), your plan and your payment records.
- We don't sell or share your data for advertising, and this website has no ads or tracking.
What we store on our servers
- Account: name, email address, whether it's verified, a hashed password (we can never see the password itself), or your Google account ID and email if you sign in with Google, and when you signed up.
- Plan: your trial end date, plan type and the date your plan runs until.
- Payments: amount, plan, date, status, your mobile number (PayU requires one for receipts), and the transaction ID and payment method type that PayU reports to us. We never receive your card number, UPI PIN or bank login.
- Security: sign-in sessions, and the IP address and time of sign-in attempts, kept for up to 30 days to prevent abuse and fraud.
What the extension sends us
When you schedule a button, and about once a day, the extension checks your plan with our server. That request contains only your sign-in token and the extension version. It doesn't include the page, the button, the time or anything you typed.
What the extension stores on your device
For each button you schedule: the page's address and title, the button's visible text, a technical locator for it, the scheduled time and the result. The last 50 results are kept so you can see them. It also keeps your sign-in token and plan status so it works offline for a while. Settings, including your colour theme, use Chrome's sync storage, so they follow your Google account if you use Chrome sync. Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stores.
What the extension reads on web pages
It runs only on a tab where you start the button picker yourself. It reads just enough of that page to let you pick a button, check that required fields are filled, and press the button at the time you chose. It doesn't read or store what you type into forms.
Reliable clicking
When "Reliable clicking" is on (the default), the extension uses Chrome's debugger permission only to send a single mouse click to the button you picked, at the time you scheduled, and then detaches immediately. It isn't used to read page content or network traffic.
Emails
We send emails about your account: verification, password resets, payment receipts and reminders before your trial or plan ends. We don't send marketing emails unless you've agreed to them.
Who processes your data for us
- PayU processes payments under its own privacy policy.
- MongoDB Atlas hosts our database, and a cloud hosting provider runs our server.
- An email delivery service sends our account emails.
- Google handles "Continue with Google" if you use it.
These providers may process data outside India, under contracts that require them to protect it.
This website
When you log in, the website keeps your sign-in session in your browser's local storage. It doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. The sign-up and login pages load Google's sign-in script from Google.
Problem reports and reviews
A problem report is sent only when you press "Submit problem" in the extension, and you can see everything in it first: your description, any links and email you add, and optional technical details (extension version, browser, language, time zone, settings and the site's name, never the full page address or form contents). If you share a review, your rating, comment and name (or "Anonymous") are stored, and shown publicly only if you allowed it and we approved it. Reports and reviews are stored in Google Workspace tools we operate.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Payment records are kept as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require. To allow one free trial per person, we keep a one-way fingerprint of your email address (it can't be turned back into the address) and the date your trial ended.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent. You can delete your account yourself from the account page, or email us. We respond within 30 days. Grievance officer: Harmandeep Singh, singh.harmandeep09@gmail.com.
Children
Accounts are for people aged 18 or over, or with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and email account holders about significant changes.
